New York–>Connecticut–>New Jersey–>Delaware–>Maryland–>Virginia–>Washington, D.C.–>North Carolina–>South Carolina–>Georgia
That was our route the past two weeks. We stayed with relatives (The Tow family) in Pound Ridge, NY and took the train to the city. We stayed with relatives (The Speers family) in McLean, VA and drove into Washington, D.C. We stayed right on the water at Kill Devil Hills, NC and watched the sunrise from our hotel room, walked along the beaches of Outer Banks, and went to the field where the Wright brothers flew the first airplane at Kitty Hawk.
The best part about this stretch of the trip was the opportunity to stay and hang out with so many family members. We had a really great time. I am truly fortunate to be related to such kind and generous people.
