The last major stop on our trip was to visit the Thompson family in Texas. Mike and Lisa took us to a honky tonk in Fort Worth for drinks, dancing and bull riding, and to a Texas BBQ the next day for the best smoked meat we’ve ever had (and a great way to recover from being out all night at a honky tonk). Noah Thompson is a prolific artist, and we got to take part in many of his works, and also bring several drawings home as souvenirs.
It was so awesome to spend a few days hanging out in Flower Mound, TX with Mike, Lisa, Noah and Amelia.
